Requirements

Candidates should possess a BA/BS in computer science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A strong understanding of statistical concepts relevant to experimentation, such as p-values, confidence intervals, and power analysis, is essential, along with experience in multivariate testing and multi-armed bandits. Proven ability to analyze and synthesize data using SQL, Python, and/or R is required, as is demonstrated technical proficiency working closely with engineers. Experience building or improving experimentation platforms at scale is also necessary. Familiarity with tools like AB Tasty, Optimizely, or custom-built experimentation platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Product Experimentation Lead will guide the product philosophy, vision, and roadmap for the Experimentation Platform, focusing on system design improvements and overseeing the development of systematic platform enhancements. They will partner with Product, Engineering, and UX teams to elevate experimentation rigor and self-service utility, and develop and teach educational materials and standards to improve experiment design and interpretation across the company. This role involves defining and tracking metrics to evaluate the health and impact of experimentation company-wide.
