Requirements

2+ years hands-on work delivering full-stack software
Expertise in TypeScript (preferred) or modern JavaScript
Familiarity with React, NodeJS, Python, Docker, and a major cloud provider
Experience with one or more database systems, especially PostgreSQL or ElasticSearch
Experience working in a team using agile methodologies and fluency with the agile toolkit
Willingness to work in the New York City office 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Responsibilities

Design, build, and launch new features and improve the overall quality of the Garner app
Collaborate across disciplines to understand our users and iterate on new ideas
Protect our users’ privacy and security through secure coding and design practices
Support the Garner app in production
Partner across product, design, data, and engineering to build features end-to-end
Lead projects and elevate user experiences
Own core backend services (signup, auth, integrations) and ensure secure, high-quality, reliable experiences in a fast-moving environment
