Requirements
Master degree or PhD in automotive, electromagnetic systems (solenoid valves, actuators) and hydraulic/pneumatic fluid systems. (Required)
Proficiency in FEA, CFD, and Multiphysics simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS Maxwell/Fluent/Structure, GT, MATLAB/Simulink, AMEsim)
Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA) and industry standards (ISO, SAE)
More than 5 years working experience. (Required)

Responsibilities
Conduct Multiphysics simulations (electromagnetic, fluid dynamics, structural mechanics, thermal management) for solenoid valves, hydraulic components and mechanical components
Model transient behaviors, fluid-structure interactions, and thermal effects using tools like ANSYS Maxwell/Fluent/Structure, GT, MATLAB/Simulink, AMEsim
Validate simulation results against experimental data and refine models for accuracy
Collaborate with design and product engineering teams to improve performance, efficiency, and reliability of electromagnetic and hydraulic systems
Propose design modifications based on simulation insights to meet performance, DFM/DFA/VAVE cost, weight, durability targets, and DFMEA
Work with design, product, testing, manufacturing, and controls engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of simulation outcomes into product development
Provide root-cause analysis via simulation method for open issue solving, field failures and prototype testing
Prepare technical reports, present findings to stakeholders, and maintain simulation workflows and best practices
Work with customers for simulation communication when required
Ensure all deliverables & timing are clearly defined and communicated to stakeholders (including internal and external organization)
Adhere to BorgWarner Safety Policy Manual, including the use of required equipment and practices to prevent accidents and illnesses. Report all injuries and dangerous situations. Meet EHS responsibilities
