Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience or equivalent education and experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience with welding (required)
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including lasers, plasma punch, and press brake (preferred)
  • Strong fabrication skills
  • Must be a team player, creative, and have strong hands-on mechanical knowledge
  • Basic understanding of hydraulics and electrical circuits
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others
  • Word, Excel, Outlook, and computer navigation skills
  • Must be able to work safely performing a wide range of tasks

Responsibilities

  • Support Design Engineering by fabricating and assembling prototypes, setting up test equipment, and assisting in performing tests
  • Support Manufacturing Engineering and Operations by fabricating weld and assembly fixtures and other production tooling
  • Provide design input to improve manufacturability, product design and performance
  • Assemble prototypes and assist with fit verification and other engineering activity
  • General mechanical and electrical repair on products and test vehicles
  • Communicate with all parties to ensure correct and frequent prioritization of work
  • Communicate with other Product Development Techs to ensure all open work is assigned and covered
  • All other tasks and projects as assigned
