Requirements

Candidates must have proven experience leading design teams, with 5-8 years in product design and at least 2 years in a leadership or management role within the Fintech or banking industry. A proven track record of managing and scaling a design team, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and career pathing, is essential. The ideal candidate can translate business objectives into a clear design strategy and roadmap, define the long-term vision for product user experience, and champion a customer-first approach. Strong UX/UI craft across platforms with a systemic, scalable approach and proficiency in design systems are also required.

Responsibilities

The Product Designer Manager will drive the vision and execution of Addi's lending product experience, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user journey. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring a world-class design team to deliver measurable business outcomes, improving the clarity of core lending flows to reduce customer support tickets and increase transaction rates, and designing/implementing trust-building patterns and user education flows to improve NPS and CSAT. They will also design and launch a loyalty program and engagement strategy to increase user retention and MAU, and establish a fully adopted Design System to improve design-to-development handoff efficiency and reduce time-to-market for new features. The manager will actively coach and empower team members, provide constructive feedback, identify growth opportunities, and foster an environment of continuous learning and psychological safety.
