About the Role

In a systems-driven environment, your role will be vital in shaping the foundations of our core products and experiences. This involves analyzing our platform architecture and collaborating with engineering and product teams to develop strong design patterns and consistent standards. Beyond design systems, a crucial aspect involves exploring, learning, and integrating AI capabilities into our product and design practices.

The challenges you will encounter require a knack for systems thinking, deep curiosity, and a willingness to challenge conventions — our teams are continuously iterating, evolving, and learning. Your contribution will be crucial in building a world-class platform experience that combines design systems excellence, propelled by AI advancements that will shift the way we collaborate.

Responsibilities

  • Solve complex enterprise design challenges by creating scalable, accessible, and consistent design patterns that balance technical requirements with user needs.
  • Drive design and design decisions while partnering closely with Design Engineering to define, build, document, and maintain a robust design system that supports our expanding product ecosystem.
  • Foster a collaborative design culture that emphasizes quality, innovation, and continuous improvement across our product experiences.
  • Champion design decisions through clear articulation of design principles, user research insights, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Explore and integrate AI-powered tools to streamline workflows, enhance design quality, and create more intelligent, adaptive experiences.

Requirements

  • A BFA or BA/BS degree in design, interaction, or a related field.
  • Over 4 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proven experience working with established design systems, contributing to their development and maintenance.
  • Knowledgeable in accessibility standards, ensuring designs are inclusive and user-friendly for diverse audiences.
  • Deeply curious about exploring how advancements in AI can transform the way we work and build a world-class experience.
  • A proactive approach—you identify opportunities rather than waiting for them to present themselves.
  • Expertise in Figma, with the ability to build and scale with elements such as variables, modes, and component libraries.
  • Action-oriented mindset.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $120,000 - $170,000 a year
    • This salary range is the estimated base salary range. Base salaries are just one component of the total compensation package and are determined by a number of factors such as years of experience, expertise, qualifications, and more.
