Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional design experience, ideally with software or technology companies, or in a product-driven environment
  • Strong portfolio showcasing graphic design and UI/UX-type projects
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and similar design tools
  • Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools; ability to translate marketing flows and end-user needs into clean, intuitive designs
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AI-leaning creator tools like Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, DALL-E, or Canva
  • Understanding of responsive and mobile design principles
  • Strong eye for typography, color, and layout as well as an attention to detail
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • BA/BS degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent experience
  • Willingness/ability to travel and time shift to match cross-functional team efforts
  • Located near Utrecht Central Station, The Netherlands (hybrid role)
  • Primary language English; additional languages (e.g., Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Korean) are a plus
  • Additional skills in motion graphics, video editing, or basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product team to design intuitive user interfaces and improve overall ZeroTier customer-lifecycle experience
  • Contribute to and help maintain a consistent design system aligned with ZeroTier’s brand and product identity
  • Support marketing initiatives by creating digital and print assets (presentations, social graphics, email templates, web visuals, event collateral)
  • Optimize website and in-app/platform visuals to drive consistency, engagement, sign-ups, and conversions
  • Support product workflows through wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing
  • Partner with product managers, marketers, and engineers to ensure seamless implementation of design work cross-functionally
  • Stay current with UI/UX trends, accessibility standards, and emerging design tools
