Responsibilities

  • Combine craft expertise and leadership skills with understanding of customers and business to co-create innovative solutions to complex problems and influence product strategy
  • Demonstrate high degree of skill in product design across interaction, visual and service design
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to inform use of appropriate tools, platforms, frameworks and design systems
  • Create artifacts including journey maps, blueprints, high-fidelity designs and prototypes
  • Lead design projects, directing and delegating work for junior team members
  • Build strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Mentor and help mature the overall product design practice
  • Navigate needs of partners and stakeholders using critical-thinking skills, factoring in data, research insights, scalability and tech constraints
  • Focus team on customer-centered solutions and inclusive design
  • Apply insights on customers, competitors and market trends to business challenges to shape shared point of view
  • Demonstrate understanding of tech, data capabilities and emerging technologies to inform work and help team navigate limitations
  • Leverage network of partnerships to foster collaboration, share solutions and drive product strategy
  • Present work across levels using human-centered approach integrating design frameworks, data and research insights to influence strategic decisions
