Lead Product Designer
Foodsmart- Full Time
- Junior (1 to 2 years)
Candidates should possess 8+ years of experience in product or UX design, demonstrating the ability to be a strategic partner by understanding the competitive environment and building a vision for how the product will fit in the market. Strong full-stack design skills, encompassing interaction design, visual design, and system thinking, are required, along with a proven track record in building products from the ground up and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
The Product Design Lead will be responsible for crafting end-to-end experiences that power the heart of every restaurant's digital presence — their menu, collaborating deeply with product managers, engineers, and operations to launch features that simplify complex workflows, participating in design critiques and cross-functional reviews to refine ideas, and enhancing the Menus experience by contributing to the design system and evolving core patterns. They will also champion user-centered design by advocating for the needs of restaurant operators, delivery staff, and internal teams, while navigating technical constraints and business trade-offs with clarity and conviction.
