Requirements
- Strong portfolio showcasing mobile app design expertise and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in startups or early-stage companies (advantageous, particularly in achieving product-market fit and scaling efforts)
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or similar software
- Solid understanding of user-centred design principles
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and other designers
- Experience with mobile prototyping and user testing methodologies
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and provide mentorship to junior team members
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in mobile app design
- Passion for staying at the forefront of design innovation and continuously improving your craft
Responsibilities
- Define the visual identity of the apps, from creating seamless interfaces to designing captivating user journeys
- Take charge of the design process, collaborating closely with diverse teams to transform intricate concepts into visually stunning, user-focused solutions to drive engagement and retention
- Transform Muscle Booster into the most engaging, simple, and fun strength training app in the market
- Create healthy habits for users by designing a user experience based on deep user understanding and solving for barriers that stop users from getting stronger
- Collaborate closely with product leadership to shape and deliver on the product roadmap and vision
- Lead and mentor a team of three passionate designers
