Requirements

  • Understanding of the software development life-cycle (SDLC) and experience working on software development projects
  • Demonstrated ability to champion projects from beginning through implementation
  • Ability to communicate clearly and rally teams and individuals around a vision
  • Strong documentation and technical writing skills
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with a wide range of team members and stakeholders from different backgrounds
  • Self-starter who takes initiative in solving problems and can self-manage commitments and deadlines
  • Ability to approach complex problems with a critical thinking and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Majoring in a technical concentration or have a strong interest in technology
  • An eye for detail and a desire to document everything
  • Authorized to work permanently for any employer in the U.S. (no employment visa sponsorship)

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to understand business needs and objectives
  • Collaborate with project team members to break down abstract client needs into precise product requirements
  • Help keep projects running smoothly by managing requirement backlogs
  • Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical tickets for the engineering team
  • Build a shared understanding of product requirements among the internal team
  • Work closely with product designers to build experiences that align with business goals and support the end-users’ needs
  • Participate in the delivery of large and complex software projects in a team-based environment
