About the Role: Figure is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Accounting Manager who is ready to make a powerful impact! In this role, you will lead critical financial operations related to loan transactions and servicing. You will also help with automations as well as play a key part in building and refining processes as we scale at lightning speed. Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of daily financial operations related to loan transactions, servicing, and sales activities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of loan accounting professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence, ensuring the team operates efficiently to meet deadlines and deliverables.
  • Manage the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and reconciling loan-related accounts with precision.
  • Develop and implement loan accounting policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with GAAP.
  • Partner with external auditors to provide documentation and support for a seamless audit process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, to solve loan accounting challenges and identify process improvements.
  • Drive automation initiatives to streamline loan data reporting and enhance real-time decision-making capabilities.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects and initiatives that support business growth and scalability, especially in loan origination and servicing.
