Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management analytics
Strong penchant for solving complex business problems with most suitable analytic tool
Ability to work collaboratively in a global team and with cross-functional departments
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement initiatives
Working Knowledge of Business Statistics (e.g., explains basic decision process, works with basic statistical functions, explains common statistical errors, describes sample size/normal distributions/standard deviation, generates/interprets basic statistical data)
Working Knowledge of Accuracy and Attention to Detail (e.g., accurately gauges impact/cost of errors, uses tools for checking outputs, processes detailed information accurately, learns from mistakes, uses checklists)
Working Knowledge of Data-driven Decision Making (e.g., applies techniques for data-driven thinking, discerns signal from noise, identifies/obtains/organizes relevant data, participates in identifying priorities)

Responsibilities

Directing the data gathering, data mining, and data processing processes in huge volume; creating appropriate data models
Exploring, promoting, and implementing semantic data capabilities through Natural Language Processing, text analysis and machine learning techniques
Leading to define requirements and scope of data analyses; presenting and reporting possible business insights to management using data visualization technologies
Conducting research on data model optimization and algorithms to improve effectiveness and accuracy on data analyses
Developing improvement plans to support buyers & professionals related to Response Time, Lean Targets Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, and Management (QCLDM) to enable optimal and efficient operations
Performing analysis and maintenance of assigned processes that produce output excellence, builds expertise for the assign process area, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts
Supporting customers and customer proposal efforts with pricing information and supplier selection
Performing analytical in support of purchasing strategic initiatives
Performs analytical tasks and initiatives on huge amount of data to support data-driven business decision for purchasing, supply chain, sourcing, cost, price analyses
