Responsibilities

  • Execute sourcing activities in respective spend area within defined KPI boundaries
  • Provide inputs for procurement plan and work proactively with internal clients to identify, forecast, and optimise demand and standardize specifications to reduce TCO
  • Identify sourcing opportunities, complete category profiles, and calculate TCO
  • Monitor category trends and initiate market research as needed
  • Prepare and execute sourcing events, lead negotiations, and execute contracting with suppliers
  • Develop and manage partnerships with internal clients (including efficient cross-functional collaboration) and relationships with strategic suppliers
  • Conduct review of contract performance along with main stakeholders and spending for categories, and manage supplier performance
  • Provide strategic sourcing according to procurement plan and within budgets, timescales, and standards
  • Cooperate with purchasers on strategic sourcing process and provide deep category expertise
  • Hand over sourcing results to transaction purchasing team
