Responsibilities

  • Collect operational data/reports, conduct analysis, and reconcile transactions
  • Boost vendor compliance, cut savings erosion, improve discount capture using preferred suppliers, and confirm pricing and terms prior to payment
  • Account for goods and services through requisitioning, purchasing, and receiving
  • Manage order sequence of procurement and financial process end to end
  • Design, implement, manage, and support accounts payable activities using relevant processes, policies, and applications
  • Perform timely and accurate billing and processing of invoices
  • Manage purchase and non-purchase orders and perform two-way and three-way matching of invoices
  • Make payments using checks, wire, SWIFT, direct debits, etc., as part of invoice processing cycle
  • Execute manual payments and automated payment runs
  • Run potential duplicate payments reports and take appropriate action
  • Execute payment related controls
  • Solve routine problems through precedent and referral to general guidelines
  • Interact within own team and with direct supervisor
  • Follow detailed to moderate level of instruction on daily work tasks and detailed instruction on new assignments
  • Make decisions impacting own work as an individual contributor with focused scope
