Requirements

  • Masters in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering fields
  • 5+ years in process engineering roles – big plus if automotive and wire harness industry
  • Advanced proficiency in: Excel, Reporting & Analysis, Presentation Skills
  • Project Management, Risk Analysis, Strategic Communication
  • Strong leadership competencies: Builds Trust, Adaptive to Change, Enterprise Thinking, Customer & Market Focus, Bias for Action, Collaboration
  • Fluent in English (Advanced Reading, Writing, Speaking)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support process implementation for new programs and technologies
  • Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and rollout of best practices across EMEA
  • Ensure compliance with ME standards (POS / BOP / PFMEA / BOE) and customer requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, SCM, Quality, Maintenance) and external stakeholders (suppliers, customers)
  • Maintain and evolve Aptiv’s process engineering knowledge base and capabilities
  • Promote a culture of innovation, efficiency, and integrity
  • Lead the implementation of new technologies and innovation projects in Final Assembly, Post Process, and Testing areas
  • Serve as the go-to expert for Final Assembly processes, providing guidance and technical direction to peers and stakeholders
  • Act as deputy to the Area Manager, making decisions and ensuring continuity in their absence
  • Maintain and evolve the Aptiv knowledge base and technical documentation for Final Assembly
