Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience managing inventory, logistics, shipping/receiving, and materials operations in manufacturing or aerospace industries
  • Strong hands-on expertise with ERP/MRP systems for inventory and work order management
  • Demonstrated success leading warehouse teams in manufacturing processes
  • Experience working in aerospace or defense industries and familiarity with traceability requirements
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Build out Inversion’s inventory ERP/MRP system and work order standards from scratch
  • Direct and oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and high inventory accuracy through rigorous audits and cycle counts
  • Lead logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipping, transportation coordination, and warehouse workflow optimization
  • Develop and maintain robust materials forecasting models to support production schedules and minimize shortages
  • Supervise all shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accuracy of inbound inspections, documentation compliance (hazmat/MSDS where required), and timely processing of receipts
  • Manage work order creation, tracking, and fulfillment processes, ensuring seamless material availability and accurate ERP transactions
  • Oversee the kitting and de-kitting of materials to support production and assembly lines, ensuring complete and quality-checked kits are delivered to the floor
