Requirements

Candidates should possess 7+ years of professional experience in user experience design, demonstrated through a portfolio showcasing expertise in content personalization and discovery features such as user identity/profiles, recommendations, feeds, search & browse, and experience creating interactive prototypes for mobile platforms. A formal education in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Principal UX Designer will lead design strategy for content personalization and user engagement initiatives, create designs and prototypes for presentation and handoff to engineering partners, collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, ML engineers, engineers, and designers, and content programming teams, work with UX Research and Data Science teams to inform design decisions, learn from streamers and viewers to imagine the future of the service, and help shape Twitch's design future by evolving design systems and mentoring designers across the organization.
