Candidates must possess an active U.S. TS/SCI clearance and have at least 5 years of hands-on configuration and development experience with enterprise technologies, including integrations and portals. A strong background in Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, Bootstrap, CSS, middleware, LDAP, SSO, etc.) and SaaS platforms is required, along with maintained skills or certifications in CIS-ITSM and other ServiceNow risk implementation certifications. Experience leveraging or evaluating AI integration into IT processes and proven ability to influence and consult with IT sponsors/stakeholders are also essential. Familiarity with leading enterprise tools like Office 365, Teams, Workday, and Twilio is preferred.
The Principal Technical Consultant will serve as the functional and technical expert for federal customer engagements, guiding them in designing, configuring, and optimizing ServiceNow ITSM solutions with a focus on configuration over customization. Responsibilities include acting as the technical expert for IT Service Delivery, supporting process definition and gap analysis through workshops, and advising customers on maximizing out-of-the-box capabilities. The role involves leading design workshops, guiding customers in documentation, drafting technical user stories, providing ad-hoc guidance and training, and leading technical delivery of projects, including oversight of partner components and unit testing. Developing integrations (e.g., SSO, LDAP) and portal components, preparing customer-facing technical deliverables, serving as a lead member of engagement teams, managing multiple initiatives, promoting continuous improvement, supporting pre-sales efforts, and mentoring colleagues are also key duties. Travel up to 50% annually may be required.
