Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in functional and automation testing
  • Experience in functional and automation testing of API and User Interface
  • Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools, Cucumber, RESTAssured, and Selenium Framework
  • Experience with ETL testing tools and strong SQL (plus)
  • Experience with Cloud technologies, DevOps, CI/CD, Git, Jenkins
  • Strong technical skills such as SQL, Java, and AWS/Azure
  • Ability to quickly learn, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability to interpret business requirements and crystallize stories and acceptance criteria for implementation
  • Ability to identify risks and develop contingency plans in anticipation of test automation issues
  • Proven ability to work independently as part of an Agile Sprint, Kanban team/Squads
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; motivated, self-directed, with aptitude for learning and a teammate
  • Proven understanding of the software development process including planning, analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, and problem resolution
  • Experience with agile methodology and tool sets (JIRA)

Responsibilities

  • Join a Scrum team of 6-8 individuals and play a pivotal role on project delivery teams
  • Develop and test critical applications that test products and instill confidence in capabilities
  • Use innovative testing techniques to test applications as part of a larger QA team
  • Craft and develop test automation and in-house software utilities as part of the Quality Engineering organization
  • Use and improve upon an existing automation framework
