Responsibilities

  • Drive product quality, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, performant, well-tested, and maintainable.
  • Provide technical leadership to the scrum team, mentoring members and offering guidance for timely, high-quality software delivery.
  • Accurately communicate risks and roadblocks to stakeholders and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
  • Leverage extensive skills and industry experience to develop and implement best practices that foster the company's long-term technological growth.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with all stakeholders, including customers, leadership, and other departments, through effective communication and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing scalable, distributed, API-based software systems.
  • 8+ years of experience delivering products within cloud-based development environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong proficiency in software engineering and architecture principles (e.g., OOP, SOLID, TDD, DDD, BDD).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with a strong understanding of Scrum methodologies.
  • Proven track record of owning product architecture, ensuring robustness, scalability, performance, testability, and maintainability.
  • Leadership capabilities to technically lead scrum teams, mentor members, and provide guidance.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality software promptly, transparently communicating risks and roadblocks.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends to develop and implement strategies for sustainable growth, fostering trusted stakeholder relationships.
