Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience. They should possess over 10 years of experience in building and operating distributed systems at scale, with proven expertise in creating reliable, scalable, efficient, and secure cloud platforms. Fluency in programming languages such as Go, Rust, Java, or C++ is required, along with a collaborative approach to working with development and operations teams. Understanding of cloud security best practices and excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are necessary, as well as strong communication abilities.
The Principal/Senior Staff Software Engineer will architect, design, and develop Cloud Infrastructure management systems and platforms while delivering end-to-end use cases for the Crusoe Cloud. They will evaluate and implement platforms, tools, and frameworks that focus on reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency. The role includes developing workflows to drive efficiency, designing high-performing cloud architectures, streamlining cloud deployment and operations, and contributing to the evolution of the platform in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
