Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Risk Management, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, including securing cloud environments (Azure/GCP), application security, and security operations, is required. Deep expertise in network and infrastructure security within major cloud platforms, including IAM, network configuration, and cloud-native security tools, is essential. Hands-on experience with vulnerability management, penetration testing, and common attack vectors, along with familiarity with SAST, DAST, and SCA tools, is necessary. A strong understanding of the OWASP Top 10, secure coding principles, and cryptography is also required.
The Principal Security Engineer will lead and execute security transformation initiatives for enterprise clients, focusing on cloud security, application security, and vulnerability management. Responsibilities include conducting forensic investigations across cloud platforms and containerized environments, leading the design and implementation of modern security solutions, and assessing client needs to embed best practices. This role involves configuring, maintaining, and remediating infrastructure, particularly within Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure, including networks, firewalls, and web application firewalls. The engineer will serve as a primary client-facing security expert, architecting and implementing robust security solutions, conducting in-depth security assessments and penetration tests, and developing secure software development lifecycles. They will also provide expert guidance on OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, drive the adoption of automated security testing, support the Security Operations team on occasion, and mentor other security engineers and client teams.
