Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or Equivalent
  • Hands-on experience in building interconnected systems (hardware, software, network, database)
  • Very strong expertise in updating and maintaining legacy systems to leverage modern technologies and architectures
  • Expertise in designing and developing microservices handling high Transaction Per Second traffic
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices
  • 10+ years of experience with Java, Springboot, Oracle, Kubernetes, Kafka, Azure/AWS cloud technologies
  • Passion for technology and staying on top of latest trends
  • Good working knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident management, Change management)
  • Hands-on experience leading or mentoring scrum teams for business-critical, architecturally distributed experiences (multi-functional: engineering, quality, devops, release)
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and tools for rapid, low-risk production deployments
  • Strong communication skills for discussions with diverse roles and skillsets
  • Hands-on experience in Java, Spring, Springboot, Event/Listener messaging frameworks
  • Hands-on experience designing and developing robust RESTful APIs
  • Hands-on experience with Hashicorp Vault, Terraform, and Packer
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes tools/services (managed platforms, service meshes, monitoring, security)
  • In-depth understanding of API Management (Stratum/Apigee)
  • Proven experience designing, deploying, maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud; preferably Azure: Namespace, AKS, ASB, Data Factory, API Management, Storage Account, Redis)
  • Hands-on experience in container-based development (Docker)
  • Hands-on experience with EDA solutions (Kafka/MQ)
  • Hands-on experience with databases and data concepts/tools (Oracle, PL/SQL, Informatica)
  • Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 framework and scopes
  • Experience implementing Microservices Architecture and building/deploying highly automated, scalable, maintainable infrastructure
  • Experience designing/developing high-throughput, low-latency apps (load balancing, caching, threading)
  • Knowledge of CD processes/tools, testing frameworks/practices (GitHub, Jenkins, uDeploy, Stash)
  • Strategic thinking and critical problem-solving skills
  • Good to have: Knowledge in Control M, DB2 to CICS, Cloud to CICS, MAUI
