Responsibilities

Contribute to the development and maintenance of market intelligence and research flow for S&P Global Commodity Insights Freight Analytics products, ensuring high-quality and relevant data
Analyze market trends and provide actionable insights for freight markets and trade flows, focusing on liquid bulk commodities, particularly crude oil and refined products
Enhance client visibility into the dynamics of physical trade in liquid bulk and freight markets, providing them with the information needed to make informed decisions
Conduct in-depth analysis and commentary on current and future trends in liquid bulk commodities and freight markets, including supply and demand analysis based on the Global Shipbuilding Market and Maritime Regulatory Framework
Communicate insights to clients through published reports, presentations, calls, emails, and direct meetings, ensuring clarity and actionable recommendations
Work closely with senior analysts, the Data Analytics team, and Product Management teams to ensure alignment and accuracy of research outputs
Conduct original research and data mining to identify marketable findings and enhance research capabilities
Establish and document research processes and methodologies to create internal standards and best practices
Collaborate with Sales teams to analyze reports and effectively communicate insights to customers, enhancing client relationships and driving business growth
