Responsibilities

  • Directs and manages projects from initiation to closure
  • Serves as primary contact for clients
  • Monitors and manages a project to ensure it meets Alira Health’s and the Sponsor’s or other organization’s requirements
  • Provides overall planning and oversight of projects from inception to completion, ensuring completion on time, within cost and required quality standards
  • Coaches/mentors Senior/Junior Project Managers and supports Project Management Director with process improvement initiatives
  • Creates and maintains project plans, including tasks, milestone dates, status and resource allocation
  • Assigns the project team in conjunction with the relevant department head and allocates resources needed to achieve project goals
  • Develops project management documentation, such as communication plan, risk plan and status reports
  • Effectively communicates project expectations to team members and Sponsor in a timely and clear fashion
  • Liaises with Sponsor and team members on an ongoing basis
  • Schedules the kick-off meeting with team members
  • Identifies and develops project success criteria, potential risks and contingency plans
  • Prepares, discusses, maintains and documents study timelines with Sponsor and project team
  • Provides timely oversight of the budget, including work completed, hours used and profit status, and ensures the profitability target is met
  • Maintains accuracy of information recorded in the Alira Health business and project management system
  • Supports in reviewing Budget Proposals
  • Manages out of scope activities and prepares and discusses change orders with Sponsors
  • Works with QA department to ensure resolution of any quality issue that may arise and supports QA during internal/external audit and for the resolution of relevant findings
  • Works with administration to review and approve steps of payments
  • Reviews study documentation before returning to Sponsor
  • Attends F2F meetings with Sponsor, when requested
  • Assesses Sponsor satisfaction with the work completed by Alira Health
  • Ensures project and department KPIs are met
  • Manages issues and risks escalated by relevant stakeholders
  • Interacts proactively with other departments, such as finance, administration, department directors, commercial team and QA
  • Manages GxP suppliers required for the completion of the project
  • Shares critical and general issues with the Sponsor, Line Manager and/or Managing Director
  • Conducts other activities, reports or analysis as required by the Alira Health management
