Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with 5+ years in data-centric domains, including designing and delivering enterprise data platforms
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator
  • Excellent mentorship and leadership skills
  • Expertise in data architecture patterns (e.g., lakehouse, data mesh, ELT/ETL)
  • Strong understanding of APIs, integration, and metadata exchange
  • Experience in system modeling with languages such as ArchiMate, C4 Model, and UML
  • Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native data services (Azure preferable) and big data technologies
  • Understanding of domain driven design, microservices
  • Strong SQL-based data experience
  • Strong experience in one of the following areas: Collecting data from a huge range of sources and formats and establishing common data standards; Designing data delivery systems for multiple clients and technologies with varied business rules; Developing enterprise data platforms to standardize and harmonize data from multiple sources for analysis; Building enterprise solutions for managing global and local master and reference data
  • Skills and experience in enterprise and software architecture, data management solutions, data warehouses, big data technologies, delivery, and healthcare
  • Experience with data technologies and the ability to align technical vision with business objectives

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical architecture roadmap for products, technical capabilities, and nonfunctional requirements as architecture lead of one of four Product Domains (Data Collection, Data Acquisition, Data Warehousing, Data Provisioning)
  • Define technical strategies and execute with a team of Product Directors, Product Managers, and Architects
  • Assist the Product Strategy and Management organization in defining strategies, roadmaps, and plans to consolidate the company’s solutions and manage investment
  • Lead the design of end-to-end solutions, including system integration, data flow, infrastructure, and advise on optimizing data operations on transactional and big data workloads
  • Collaborate with product directors, product managers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and features and translate these into solution designs
  • Work with engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Align technical roadmap with enterprise architects and data platform strategy
  • Stay current with new trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to incorporate AI features and assess ways to enhance existing systems
  • Evaluate potential adoption of new technologies
  • Contribute to development of product investment plans, resource allocation, and long-term technical forecasts
  • Lead estimation processes
