Requirements

12+ years of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or Platform Engineering experience with a proven track record of building and operating production infrastructure at scale, including being on call and resolving critical incidents
Deep, hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and the CNCF ecosystem in production environments, including controllers, operators, custom resources, debugging complex networking issues across multi-cluster deployments, and managing clusters serving hundreds of workloads
Significant experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS, with Azure preferred), including understanding cloud-native patterns and designing for high availability

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and operate highly available infrastructure on Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS that processes billions of security events daily
Leverage expertise in Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and the CNCF ecosystem to build resilient, self-healing, multi-tenant clusters with strict isolation and security boundaries
Lead the evolution of the open source observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Mimir, Pyroscope) to handle exponential growth, process billions of events monthly, maintain query performance, and manage costs efficiently
Build self-service tools and automation to improve developer experience, including effortless onboarding, golden paths, and abstractions that enable faster feature shipping while maintaining best practices
Own large-scale Terraform/OpenTofu deployments, build reusable modules, establish best practices, and enable GitOps workflows for safe and efficient infrastructure provisioning
Solve complex technical challenges such as zero-downtime migrations across cloud providers, cost optimization at scale, and building ephemeral environments to accelerate development
Collaborate closely with Security, Backend, and Product Engineering teams to meet enterprise security workload requirements
Iterate and innovate in a fast-paced environment, shipping weekly infrastructure improvements, balancing speed with reliability, experimenting with cutting-edge technologies, and continuously improving performance and cost efficiency
