Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and 8-10 years of full-time on-the-job experience in software product performance, ideally for a software product company. They must have strong expertise in Linux Shell Scripting and computer system monitoring, proficiency in application programming and computer systems, and experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Java, or Python. Familiarity with modern computing concepts like Cloud, Containerization, and micro-services, along with containerization platforms like Docker and Kubernetes, is also required. Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen understanding of computer science are essential.

Responsibilities

As a Principal Performance Engineer, you will collaborate with the Manager/Director of Product Performance Engineering and other team members to understand and evaluate the performance of Protegrity products. You will develop and enhance performance evaluation scopes, execute tests, and troubleshoot performance issues. Providing technical leadership and guidance to team members, engaging with customers to resolve performance issues, and staying current with industry best practices are key responsibilities. Additionally, you will contribute to ensuring products meet the highest standards and make a significant impact on the company’s success.
