Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Principal Network Engineer to join our Global Cloud Ops team. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Network Engineering, you will be responsible for managing IT projects, overseeing network performance, and deploying and managing Zscaler security products.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Manage IT projects such as network builds, upgrades, and migrations, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to performance and security standards.
• Network Operations: Oversee network performance, resolve issues, optimize efficiency, and maintain Aruba Wi-Fi across corporate offices.
• Ticket Management: Prioritize and diligently address tickets assigned to the IT Network queue, striving to resolve them within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Zscaler Product Deployment: Deploy and manage Zscaler security products, including Branch Connectors, App Connectors, and other security components.
• DNS Administration: Administer DNS infrastructure and manage internal and external DNS records and zones.
• Certificate Management: Generate and manage digital certificates for external applications, and renew and manage certificates for public domains.
• Zero Trust Architecture: Collaborate on Zero Trust Architecture projects to enhance network security and access control.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Network Engineering/Operations, creating security policies, and implementing network segmentation.
• Deep knowledge of network protocols, topologies, and architectures, with a focus on LAN/Wi-Fi infrastructure.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices.
• Strong Routing & Switching configuration experience (Arista/Juniper/Cisco).
• Hands-on experience configuring OSPF and BGP routing protocols.
• Experience in creating internal and external DNS records and managing DNS zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Linux operating systems and their functions.
• Zscaler ZIA/ZPA certification.
• CCNP/JNCIP certifications.
• Network automation experience with familiarity in tools like Python or Ansible to streamline network tasks.
