Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, with a minimum of 12 years of experience (BS), 10 years of experience (MS), or 8 years of experience (PhD), and a demonstrated history of developing and delivering software products. They must have a strong work ethic, a bias for execution, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, ambiguity, and tight timelines, along with the capacity to work effectively in teams or independently.
As a Principal Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for productionizing prototype code, owning Valo’s clinical machine learning platform strategy and roadmap, leading the development and application of patient subgroup discovery capabilities to support target identification, deeply understanding user needs and stakeholder pain points, and leading a growing team of machine learning engineers and data scientists.
