Requirements

  • Mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
  • Broad knowledge of project management
  • Baccalaureate degree (or equivalent for degrees earned outside the United States per 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)) and minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide Healthcare Service/Solution Consultancy
  • Oversee consulting projects involving strategy development, organizational restructuring, and management of the business to maximize efficiencies
  • Work with senior management of companies to determine long-term goals by analyzing the client's business and making recommendations for changes and improvements
  • Deliver and/or manage assigned projects, working with stakeholders to achieve desired results
  • Act as a mentor to colleagues or direct the work of lower-level professionals
  • Spend the majority of time delivering and overseeing projects from design to implementation, adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills
  • Manage large projects or processes with considerable latitude in determining deliverables and limited oversight
  • Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level specialists
  • Contribute to defining the direction for new products, processes, standards, or operational plans based on business strategy, with significant impact on work group results
  • Address difficult, moderately complex, and undefined problems through detailed information gathering, analysis, and investigation
  • Develop solutions to moderately complex problems and/or make moderate to significant improvements to processes, systems, or products independently to enhance performance
  • Implement solutions to problems
  • Represent the organization as a primary contact for specific projects and initiatives; communicate with internal and external customers and vendors at various levels
  • Negotiate with others to reach understanding or agreement and influence decision-making
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within the job area
  • Manage major/moderately complex projects, involving delegation of work and review of work products, at times acting as a team leader
