What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design, develop, test, debug, and implement cloud-native software programs across multiple platforms using Azure and AWS services.
  • Architect robust, secure, and scalable solutions leveraging Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Functions, Storage, Azure SQL; and AWS Lambda, S3, SNS/SQS, RDS.
  • Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Define and enforce engineering standards in coding, architecture, performance, and cloud security.
  • Provide technical leadership across engineering teams through mentorship, hands-on coding, code reviews, and technical strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data compliance, operational excellence, and innovation across products.
  • Support DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, cloud monitoring, and security automation.
  • Prototype and experiment with new ideas to drive product innovation.
  • Share cloud architectural best practices and lessons learned internally and externally.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 10 years of enterprise software development experience with hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
  • Proven experience designing and deploying with:
    • Azure: Data Factory, Logic Apps, Functions, Storage, Azure SQL
    • AWS: Lambda, CloudWatch, S3, SNS/SQS, DynamoDB, RDS
  • Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, CloudFormation).
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and process modeling.
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and cloud-native patterns.
  • Skilled in modern software engineering frameworks and agile development practices.
  • Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership in technical decision-making and mentoring teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Life Sciences or regulated environments.
  • Exposure to Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Understanding of hybrid or multi-cloud architectures.
