Experienced and strategic background in electrical asset management engineering
Ability to work hybrid schedule (at least three days in office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, up to five days if needed)
No need for immigration sponsorship (must be authorized to work without company involvement)
Technical leadership in asset health evaluation, project prioritization, modeling, and lifecycle investment strategies
Expertise in data analysis (condition assessments, inspections, outages, performance metrics)
Knowledge of probabilistic and consequence modeling for risk assessment
Familiarity with asset management best practices and standards (e.g., ISO 55000, NERC, FERC, ISO-NE)
Proficiency in modern asset management technologies (e.g., APM, machine learning)
Responsibilities
Lead development and implementation of comprehensive asset management plans for electrical infrastructure (substations, transformers, circuit breakers, protection systems, overhead/underground transmission lines)
Analyze condition assessment data, inspection reports, outage records, and performance metrics to assess asset health and prioritize capital/O&M investments
Oversee development and prioritization of the Transmission capital budget
Develop and maintain asset lifecycle models for long-term and replacement planning
Develop probabilistic/consequence modeling to evaluate asset risk, recommend mitigation strategies, and integrate risk-based decision-making into capital planning
Collaborate with engineering, project management, operations, finance, regulatory, and planning teams to align asset decisions with business objectives and regulations
Provide technical documentation and justifications for regulatory filings and rate cases
Support adoption of asset management technologies including APM and machine learning
Mentor junior engineers and serve as technical SME for asset management practices
Identify, initiate, and prioritize projects for one-year and five-year Capital Budget Plans
Work with Engineering, Project Management, and Cost Estimating to develop detailed project scope, cost, and schedule
Lead interdisciplinary project teams to select best solutions, document alternatives analysis, and present project approval justifications
