Proficiency in designing and developing digital circuits and simulations

Responsibilities

Represent R&D as electrical hardware technical core team lead, guiding product development of complex medical systems
Guide improvements of hardware architecture to meet customer needs while interfacing new electrical technologies and improvements
Perform the layout, construction, and evaluation of a variety of prototype Printed Circuit Boards, fixtures, and tools
Apply advanced engineering and scientific principles to the evaluation and solution of technical problems
Initiate the planning, organizing, performing, coordinating, and/or directing of engineering work, and conduct performance evaluations or technical studies
Remain abreast of and consult on technical advancements
Lay out and construct a variety of prototype tools and fixtures required for development purposes
Perform troubleshooting and fault isolation activities on a variety of breadboards and hybrids
Perform measurements specified in design verification plans, document and tabulate results, and provide engineering test reports
Initiate the planning, organizing, performing, coordinating, documentation, and/or directing of design testing internally and with external contract houses as necessary
Determine the layout, construction, and evaluation of a variety of prototype printed circuit assemblies, fixtures, and tools
Perform technical studies in support of project goals
Continually evaluate the effectiveness and appropriateness of processes
