Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and have at least 8 years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong focus on cloud environments. Demonstrated expertise in AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and CloudFormation is required. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible is essential, along with familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins. Strong understanding of security principles and compliance standards, particularly PCI-DSS, is also necessary.
Responsibilities
The Principal Cloud DevOps Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for DCS applications and infrastructure, architect and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure in AWS, develop and maintain provisioning and configuration management solutions, ensure DCS platform compliance with PCI-DSS and relevant certifications, collaborate with development and QA teams, evaluate and recommend new AWS services, contribute to system monitoring and alerting, perform incident analysis and problem resolution, and manage system enhancements and automation opportunities to improve performance and reliability. They will also be responsible for DCS application uptime, reliability, maintenance, and upgrades, and provide escalation assistance as needed.
