  • Master's degree (MS/MA) desired from an accredited university in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or Physics
  • 7+ years of related experience
  • Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL) and/or data warehouse solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks Delta Lake)
  • Proficiency with tools including Tableau, Palantir, Power BI (AI Insights), Databricks, AWS, Azure, Synapse, and H2O Driverless AI
  • Certification required in some areas
  • Office presence minimum of 5 days per week in posted location(s); no relocation offered

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets from diverse sources (e.g., internal/external repositories, data lakes, data warehouses like eCDW, BIDW) to solve business problems, predict behaviors, identify causal relationships, and trigger points
  • Apply advanced statistical methods to quantify data variances and utilize traditional modeling techniques (e.g., linear/logistic regression, time series) to support decision-making
  • Develop business cases and build complex predictive models using big data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI AI Insights, Databricks) for process integration, improvement recommendations, and real-world validation
  • Create visualizations (e.g., dashboards, reports, charts) to communicate business insights; advise business partners on data patterns/relationships, provide strategic recommendations, and guide business direction
  • Analyze changes in postpaid voice volume trends, identify underlying drivers, and develop clear narratives/insights for leadership to support business decisions
  • Lead critical, high-impact projects; design/implement innovative business strategies; work with minimal oversight; consult with senior leadership; influence executive decisions; mentor others
  • Perform highly complex advanced analytics; create new analytical methodologies; build intricate business models; make recommendations impacting entire business units or large sectors
