Requirements

Candidates should possess a Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies and be a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Georgia. They must also have experience providing primary and family evidenced-based care, and be willing to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

The Primary Care NP/PA will provide primary and family evidenced-based care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems, as well as health counseling and disposition planning. They will perform administrative duties such as opening and closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment, maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, speak with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, perform diagnostic tests, coordinate with other healthcare professionals, handle patient appointments, and complete patient charting and follow-up during the shift.
