Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) from a four-college or university, coupled with 5 to 8 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven experience in developing clear and accurate deliverables from SME and technical source materials, prior experience building pricing models, and strong interpersonal skills with the capability to build consensus and partnership are required. The ability to think critically, develop well-reasoned analysis, identify relevant information, understand logical connections between ideas, and solve problems systematically and creatively is essential. Experience contributing to RFP responses, working and delivering to the SDLC process, data analytics, managed service and technology, creating sales reports and forecasts, and interpreting market trends are preferred qualifications.
The Pricing Analyst III is responsible for contributing to company profitability through thorough and competitive cost/price analysis in the bid and proposal process. This includes managing the overall cost/pricing process, analyzing customer requirements, developing competitive bid pricing, and contributing to winning proposals. When not engaged in bid/proposal work, the analyst will provide financial reporting support to stakeholders. Key duties involve drafting strategic pricing plans, creating reports on metrics and project status, communicating findings to relevant departments, defining pricing structures with sales and delivery teams, and scoping opportunities based on market trends. The role also involves identifying ideal pricing structures and sales funnels, and performing other duties as required.
