Responsibilities

  • Supervise the team within prepared foods departments (e.g., café, rotisserie, prepared foods) by facilitating rotations, managing member needs, communicating goals, executing company programs, and adhering to policies
  • Maintain prepared foods area to meet company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment, safety, and compliance
  • Manage seasonality in production, prioritize time between areas, understand new products/recipes/processes/specifications
  • Collaborate with associates and third parties to ensure resources, share knowledge, and train the team
  • Leverage digital tools to plan/drive sales, improve shopping experience, elevate associate engagement, and make immediate business decisions
  • Drive business results through operational excellence, profitability planning, maintaining neat/clean/safe work area, appropriate staffing, accurate audits/compliance, and merchandise production/display per layout plan
  • Engage with other departments and third-party partners (e.g., maintenance, suppliers, vendors) for operational continuity
  • Teach/train team by identifying needs, developing skills for high-quality products, encouraging career growth, and sourcing talent
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes/practices to meet business needs by collaborating, analyzing information, monitoring progress, and addressing improvements
  • Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with policies/procedures/ethics/integrity, implement action plans, and assist with corrections
