Requirements

  • Expert in all aspects of video production, from pre-production through physical production and post-production
  • Experience executing a wide range of video production styles, including EPK and junket content, red carpet, convention and live event coverage, sponsored content, on-location social content, remote interviews, animated short-form trailers and explainers, and long-form compilation edits
  • Ability to plan ahead, scope work, build timelines, and execute requests with precision while balancing speed, quality, creative ideas, and brand compliance
  • Comfortable operating independently in a high-volume environment and leading concurrent productions to completion
  • Skilled at leading small teams, articulating a clear vision, implementing and following production schedules, ensuring deadlines and high standards are met
  • Ability to orchestrate projects across editors and motion designers, maintain stakeholder alignment, and ensure consistency across 16:9 and 9:16 outputs
  • Strong organizational, collaborative, and prioritization skills
  • Deep understanding of TWDC’s IPs, brands, and audience expectations
  • Passion for production, editing, and innovation
  • Platform-savvy with strong understanding of platform specs, codecs, aspect ratios, and emerging post technologies

Responsibilities

  • Lead post-production workflows from ingest through delivery, managing multiple concurrent projects across formats and platforms
  • Review incoming assets and ensure proper media organization, versioning, and adherence to TWDC technical, creative, and legal standards
  • Provide clear and actionable edit and graphics notes to editors and motion designers, ensuring final output aligns with creative intent and brand standards
  • Manage internal and external feedback rounds, consolidate notes, and track implementation through delivery
  • Oversee QC, archival, and master deliveries; ensure all assets meet final quality specifications and are cleared for distribution
  • Maintain strong understanding of platform specs, codecs, aspect ratios, and emerging post technologies to ensure efficiency and innovation
  • Plan and lead small-scale on-set productions, including camera, lighting, and sound setup, ensuring clear communication of roles and objectives
  • Direct, shoot, and produce physical production content
