Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in credentialing or provider/practice management or related field (or any combination of education and experience providing equivalent background)
  • Reside within reasonable commuting distance from posting location(s) (Latham, NY or Boston, MA), unless accommodation granted

Responsibilities

  • Maintain files and electronic records
  • Communicate with associates, facilities, and other entities to resolve issues
  • Communicate with hospitals regarding initial or re-appointments, ensuring and coordinating proctoring as needed
  • Assure all dues and fees are paid timely
  • Track and process license renewals, including address changes, status changes, and name changes
  • Research new application requirements, process documents, manage timelines, and generate status reports
  • Handle CAQH access and updates
  • Manage Collaborative Agreements
  • Obtain and process related documents to ensure credentialing, licensing, and (re)appointment activities for Carelon Health employed practitioners are completed in accordance with established protocols and departmental policies and procedures
