Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field (preferred)
  • Demonstrated expertise in Power BI, including Power BI Desktop, Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI Service
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and querying databases
  • Experience with BigQuery (preferred)
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and dimensional modelling (preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions
  • Collaborate with various business units to gather reporting requirements and translate them into Business Intelligence solutions
  • Create and maintain dynamic, visually compelling dashboards and reports using Power BI
  • Work closely with the business to understand requirements and workshop solutions
  • Develop and optimize robust data models to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of reporting solutions
  • Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements for data analysis and visualisation
  • Connect to, integrate, and transform data from multiple sources (e.g., SQL databases, Excel, BigQuery) using Power Query
  • Use Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) to build advanced calculations, measures, and calculated columns for in-depth data analysis
  • Ensure high performance of reports and dashboards by optimizing queries and data models
  • Implement data security best practices, including row-level security, to ensure data privacy and compliance
