Responsibilities

Utilize innovative machine learning (ML) and rare event modeling techniques to investigate risk factors and protective factors associated with serious or severe drug adverse events
Initially focus on neuroscience, with subsequent extension of methodology to other critical events and therapeutic areas
Enhance understanding of drivers behind safety concerns and strengthen ability to evaluate benefit-risk profiles of investigational and marketed therapies
Support activities of the Global Patient Safety (GPS) Medical organization, including characterizing and communicating safety profiles, assessing benefit-risk, and planning/measuring risk minimization measures
Generate scientific data revealing new clinical insights into risk factors driving adverse events of special interest for key Lilly products
Adapt methodology to other compounds both in development and on the market
Collaborate with colleagues in Medical, Statistics, Toxicology, and Advanced Intelligence
