Requirements

BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study
Minimum of 7 years of broad-based experience planning, designing and organizing a series of large size highly complex portfolios with project management experience in multiple technical and business disciplines (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the office location (in-office 1-2 days per week required, unless accommodation granted)

Responsibilities

Organize a series of work into a single portfolio consisting of reports that capture project objectives, costs, timelines, accomplishments, resources, risks and other critical factors for project delivery and budget forecasting on short, medium and long-term basis
Ensure that ROI thresholds are met
Coordinate and/or lead strategic project planning and annual budgeting
Coordinate with senior/executive management business partners to plan and ensure project objectives are met and budget aligns with IT budget objectives
Coordinate and/or provide strategic direction for aligning a specific organization's project plan of record and annual goal objectives with annual operating budget by specifying goals, strategy, staffing, and scheduling
Identify risks, contingency plans, and achieve long-term and short-term financial objectives
Coordinate and/or lead portfolio and project activities of the business unit and develop relationships with the business
Provide support, direction and remove roadblocks to ensure all enterprise portfolio initiatives are delivered on time, in budget and achieve ROI thresholds
Work with management to determine future systems direction for both internally developed and vendor-maintained systems and perform feasibility studies
Understand Resource Capacity Management and work with Resource Managers to manage a portfolio according to governance processes, budgeting and forecasting
