Responsibilities

  • Leverage knowledge of UK & Ireland payments industry and regulations to provide policy analysis and strategic advice to Government Affairs and business units
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, assess impacts on Visa, and advocate for supportive policy positions
  • Proactively scan and monitor external (geo)political and policy environment to identify, assess, and communicate risks and opportunities for Visa’s 2030 objectives
  • Support strategic mitigation or realization strategies aligned with business priorities
  • Provide strategic internal reporting with intelligence and actionable insights on policy, geopolitical risks, and regulatory changes
  • Engage with business teams to support input on pricing governance, product launches, and innovations
  • Support efforts to safeguard Visa’s “right-to-play” and shape policy environment for business growth
  • Support strategic engagement at all levels, including client engagement to add value to business relationships
  • Work with other functions across markets in a matrix environment and share policy expertise with GA teams in other regions
  • Support open, timely communication with executives on regulatory, policy, and engagement developments
  • Help drive continuous enhancement of function, toolkit, and staff
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, integrity, inclusion, and accountability
