Requirements

  • Project/programme management experience in a construction, retail or similar fast-paced environment
  • Good understanding of managing moving deadlines, multiple projects, and critical paths
  • Recognised qualification in PMO methods

Responsibilities

  • Manage various programmes of activity within construction workstreams, including new stores, remodel programmes, category rollouts, and operational efficiency projects
  • Collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders including Property, Finance, Construction Managers, Contractors, Consultants, and other Project Managers/PMOs to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
  • Facilitate internal Governance meetings, ensuring best practice and compliance
  • Maintain, review, and update programme reports for accurate updates to Property & Construction Leadership
  • Organise and schedule meetings for project teams and coordinate calendars
  • Actively manage and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies (RAID), constructing action plans
  • Act as a liaison between project teams, managers, and stakeholders for information sharing, updates, and requests
  • Maintain project documents, process maps, and official records, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible
  • Help manage resource requirements for programmes, highlighting constraints and alternatives
  • Set up and manage project management tools and systems, including Power BI
  • Identify opportunities to drive efficiency and improve performance across workstreams
  • Deliver within agreed governance frameworks and processes, supporting decision-making and risk management
  • Utilise data to support rollout of interactive live dashboards as a single source of truth for estate activity
  • Undertake cross-functional analysis of project/programme data to identify trends and inform business planning
