Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in design engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, supply chain or related disciplines working with revision-controlled engineering drawings, Bills of Material and software
  • 2 years of direct experience as a PLM administrator or documentation control specialist
  • Demonstrated success implementing and managing Arena PLM or similar SaaS-based PLM platforms
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 principles and QMS integration
  • Experience with Onshape, Altium, Jira, JAMA, and/or NetSuite system integrations
  • Strong understanding of change management, configuration control, and BOM management
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering, quality, and IT teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and partner with key stakeholders within the Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing and Quality organization
  • World class organizational skills
  • Detailed knowledge of standard industry practices for change management, revision control, BOM structuring and new product release process
  • Detail-oriented, process-minded, and documentation-driven
  • Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary hardware/software environment

Responsibilities

  • Configure, deploy, and maintain the company’s PLM system (Arena or equivalent)
  • Define and manage user roles, permissions, and workflows
  • Create and maintain templates, numbering schemes, and change control processes (ECR/ECO, MCO, DCO)
  • Manage system integrations and data flow between PLM and design, ERP, and QMS tools (Onshape, Altium, Jira, JAMA, NetSuite)
  • Oversee data migration and validation from legacy systems
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to align PLM processes with ISO 9001:2015 QMS requirements
  • Develop and maintain controlled documentation for PLM workflows, configurations, and best practices
  • Support Design Control, BOM management, and configuration management processes
  • Partner with IT and Compliance teams to ensure data integrity, access control, and audit readiness
  • Provide training and user support across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams
  • Monitor system performance, user adoption, and feedback to optimize usability
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional digital transformation initiatives integrating PLM, ERP, and QMS systems
  • Own the coordination of team project deliverables
  • Innovate best practices that drive continuous improvements in product commercialization
