Requirements

  • C/C++ programming development experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in development within at least one of the following areas: CPU/Microcontroller or High-Speed Interface (PCIe, USB, HDMI, DisplayPort) LSI design and evaluation; Embedded SW, Firmware, or Device Driver Software Development; High-Speed Signal Power/Signal Integrity Evaluation and Analysis
  • Ability to read and understand English technical specifications
  • Ability to communicate via English email
  • Knowledge of CPU/DSP, memory, and microcontroller hardware systems (Desired)
  • LSI development experience (Desired)

Responsibilities

  • LSI Specification Definition: Collaborate with product planning, hardware, software, and game developers to define LSI specifications based on their needs, envisioning “the best LSI (performance/cost) several years into the future.”
  • Development Design: Issue orders to LSI vendors and participate in joint design and development
  • Prototype Product Verification and Evaluation: Verify that prototype chips meet desired functionality and performance requirements
  • Mass Production Support: Leverage low-level understanding of hardware (cache, memory, bus) and apply logical approaches to support mass production
  • Program Development: Develop C/C++ programs for LSI verification and evaluation
  • Collaboration: Work with leading LSI Design Houses to develop highly competitive LSI using advanced architectures, IP (CPU, GPU, AI/ML, Codec, High-Speed Interfaces, Power Control, Security), and semiconductor processes
