Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior experience developing or operating a Kubernetes platform in a production environment
  • Experience with one high-level programming language
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop the internal Kubernetes platform
  • Integrate platform components and operators; implement the deployment and monitoring for these following IaC, CaC and GitOps principles
  • Develop and maintain an internal Kubernetes operator
  • Develop CI validation and verification of the code base
  • Adopt a security mindset as part of development and validation processes
  • Document the platform for use-of-use by application teams and the platform operations team
  • Coordinate with other technical staff to implement systems and software, prioritizing depending on business needs
  • Support operations functions, including root cause identification, remediation and documentation
  • Regularly re-assess the platform's internal ecosystem with the industry's leading solutions
  • Participate in a 24x7 on call rotation for tier 3 support
